as you can see, today was not nice outside, so the kids have been painting, playing with pinto beans, animal bowling, and then closed the night with laundry basket races. the weather is not looking up - this is our new year's eve weather report. a little cold.

so since we couldn't be in the south for christmas, we are bringin' it to colorado. andy is smokin' pork, i'm baking corn souffle, we've got slaw and beans - what else do you need?

also, a little shout out to jett - a big thanks for the smoker - i'm sure you can tell by the looks of this thing, it has had its fair share of smokin'!

christmas day: scene 2:

well, we have a new member in the lee family, buzz lightyear. he sits at our kitchen table, he requests apple juice, he even comes outside and sleds with us. we are so thrilled with our newest addition:-) as i am typing, chap is napping, she was pretty strolled out, and rowe is watching buzz in toy story 3 with buzz.

we had a sweet little chirstmas morning. the kids were well loved in regards to presents. andy was our shopper this year and he blew it out of the water - a stroller for chap's babies and a 'buzz lightyear' for rowe. everybody else, terri & jeff, aunt hannah, dandaddy, frances, all your gifts were the icing on the cake! thank you for loving these kids so well.

sickies

as of today, we are quite the motley crew. rowe's been puking since tuesday, andy started today, chap and i were playing and she accidently scratched my cornea, thus my mongo eye patch. hopefully we are on the mend and we'll be ready to rumble for christmas.

to explain the random pics - andy and i splurged this year and got a new computer, so rowe was some lovin' photo booth action, which was great and helped keep him entertained since it snowed a half of a foot last night.
