how do you cut an eleven month old's hair if he's not prone to staying still, freakish about having someone touch his ears (too many ear aches), and a super light sleeper. maybe we'll just let it keep growing.
started putting up christmas decorations & have found myself in the spirit, even though it is only november. here is our little tree.
here is rowe playing literally 'in' the cabinets. i'm not quite sure what he is looking for...
rowe has found a new love, toilet paper.
happy thanksgiving a little late. ours was nice & white.
luke showin' some guns.
rowe loves being driven around in this jeep by whichever christensen kiddo is driving. today it was luke. his driving skills are pretty impressive for a 3 year old.
when my mom was here she gave rowe some lessons on stacking. this is his new favorite game for sure.
who knows who he is calling :)
here is another shot that my dad took of the whole fam.
when rowe gets upset lately, he has gotten into the habit of 'flopping' his lips. here he is flopping away.
excuse all of the posting today. baby sleeping, cold outside.
rowe enjoying some baby einstein. he won't take his eyes off of the screen to look for a binkie, even if it is literally right next to him, so when watching he sucks his thumb.
rowe is so funny with his binkies. he likes his little pile so that he can take each one, try it out, try the next one out, next one out, & then he is usually asleep mid-try of the next one. if you look closely you can see that coot got a hold of a couple of these :-)
my dad sent some pics of their trip last week. here is one of he and andy hunting down in the valley.
about time for a face lift for the ole blog.
we had to say farewell to ole coot this morning. he just couldn't bring himself to retrieve in this cold water out here. it broke all of our hearts to let him go, but andy has to have some help for charlie with this hunting business. so we are back to square one. the new puppy will be here in december. you really were sweet, coot. best of luck in ohio.
here is our indian baby...okay, it is only a cherry, but looks pretty close:-)
two things: first...rowe's teeth have been coming in in a fairly strange order. all the bottom row first, then the outside top two, then the top two middle are just breaking through. you'll notice the 'dagger,' as andy calls it, is leading the pack on the top. second... rowe took his first steps a couple of days ago. so that was super exciting. my dad was taking pics as it unfolded so i will try and grab some from him when they get back home.
here is my dad and rowe fighting over that turkey bone.
my mom and dad are here for the week. rowe has had more to play with in the past three days than in the past three months. it is perfect timing for my mom because all of a sudden rowe has shown an interest in his books. perfect for reading time with grammy.
sweater weather has arrived.
i have been meaning to grab a picture of rowe flipping the lights. this is another of his great loves.
