sorry for the picture overload :-) andy's super fun momma, affectionately our 'momma lee,' just came for a week long visit and we had such a sweet sweet time.  trying to give her a good feel of our new everglades home, we explored a little boardwalk right up the road from us in fakahatchee state preserve. old growth cypress, super swampy and even gators in the parking lot.  not normally a plant person, the resurrection fern was pretty stinkin' amazing. andy took the pic of the fern on its own. my new fav shot i do believe.  anyway, we  loved having you, momma lee!  come back soon!

so we said a sad farewell to our old camera, but said hello to the video friendly one.  andy's been working on getting some footage for his website and some 4ur friends were down & helped out on the front of the boat, so here's the link for his first attempt. obviously biased, but i think it came out great.  should be able to just click right below.

rowe had a little run-in with his bedroom door with a little bit of slamming help from miss priss, thus the new addition on mr. thumb. small break and a nasty nasty thumb nail.  but the big news around here is what rowe is wearing -  a sweatshirt! it is FINALLY getting a little cooler:-)

so i came home from work on monday and i had apparently missed quite a bit of action.  our sweet next  door neighbor, who you'll see later in her mumu, had seen a big ole gator in our canal for the last coulple days and so called in the gator squad to come take care of business.  pretty exciting stuff for a monday, people.   and yes, rowe is wearing his captain america mask.
