a little new zealand update. this is the guy we're hunting and we're having a wonderful time doing it. give the kiddos a squeeze, momma lee!

so we made it to texas and are thoroughly enjoying summer down here:-) found this pic of fatty andy as a baby on momma lee's computer and since i packed our usb port in one of the 7000 boxes, this pic will have to do. we are off to new zealand tomorrow and will hopefully be able to update over there. if not, pics to come on the flip side.

i worked up at steak ride last year and the light on these mountains was just remarkable EVERY week. this is part of my 4UR photo tribute. more to come:-)

emptying all of my cabinets has made for much fun for these two crazies

i'm not sure why it has taken me this long, but we have a new 'drawing' tool in the lee house - colored pencils. they aren't permanet, they don't make a mark of the skin, they are super hard to break, don't taste good, and are still fun. everybody wins, especially me.

these two have fallen in love with belts all of a sudden. love them. won't go out without one. these are not my genes.

numbers

i have to admit something, preschool is a little intimidating to me. i'm just not sure how to begin things. i feel overwhelmed by teaching the alphabet - do i just start at "a," do i just sing the song? what about numbers? do i just count over and over and over in a 'fun' way? so, enter leap frog. i bought a couple dvds & an old vhs on ebay and i, as well as rowe, have LOVED them. this pic below speaks volumes to me. here is rowe making a '3' out of his pretzel. so thank you leap frog for giving my confidence a boost.

we have a new sheriff in town

movin'

well the big news around here is that we are headed west, even more west than we already are - we are idaho bound. we will be going to a place called the henry's fork lodge. this move is the definition of bittersweet. we have loved loved loved being here. this place has come to feel like home and the people here are family. so, before i get too weepy to type....

i took a few shots before it all went into boxes & here some of my favorite things about our sweet little house. over the next couple days/weeks i want to find more favorite 4UR pics, so those will be coming.

to start my 'favorites tour' - here is the first - i loved the kiddos room -bright and cheery and really green:-)

play-date

we had a gibbons play-date this afternoon. this was quite a big deal in that it was adelaide's first play-date:-) kiera was very brave and let miss britches hold baby adelaide. you can almost see the fear in her sweet little eyes:-) actually, chap did great and was a big fan of the kitty on adelaide's keester. it is pretty darn cute and i don't even like cats.

and here is sweet logs who is perpetually in shock at our house. i think his ears only reach that octave when he's in rowe's presence. and to end with a shot of baby adelaide. tiny little one.
