colorado has a long winter. i was just prefacing because you get a bit desperate for things to do. before rowe, andy & i would hook up an old satellite dish to the truck & just sling each other all over the place. it was such a riot. you could seriously fly. so, we have now introduced rowe to the thrills of being pulled behind the truck. this time we do have a tube, sadly no satellite dish. he's a bit distracted before the fun begins, and then the smile is post-tubing.
rowe had his first sleep-over the other day. luke's older brother & sister had a sleep-over in town, which was only big kids, thus luke was heartbroken. so we had a sleep-over over here. this is luke's mean face, pretty convincing.
if the house becomes suspiciously quiet, there are two places rowe could be. 1, playing in the toilet. 2, reading in his room. thankfully this was 2.
wanted to give uncle craig a steeler's shout-out, an in the drawer steeler's shout-out.
rowe has a new fascination with having shoes on. he will bring you his snow boots, rain boots, any boots he can find and then tromp around for a while. here are the rain boots with a bit of a saggy diaper.
i think spagetti makes everyone happy, rowe included.

rowe is developing more and more personality by the second. these 'cute' series of faces are what we have lovingly titled his 'stink-eye.' let me tell you, he will give it to ya' for any little thing that does not quite go along with his liking. these two shots don't truly grasp the stink-eye's full emotion, so i will try to grab a better one.
these two are so funny together, peas in a pod.
here is our newest member, birdie mae. she's a fiesty little thing. here is a 'not so busy moment,' which are few and far between. she is a cutie though & there is just something about puppy breath that melts your heart.

well, we finally made it home. we had such a sweet holiday. there were many firsts for rowe so i will go ahead and get started. i'm still not sure how to add text in between photos so i will go from first to last, but it will go backwards once published. sorry about that.
