our little one got pretty sick while we were in tennessee. that was another first - first trip to the ole e.r. for chap. they think the cold the rest of us had gave her a upset tummy/throwing up & diarrhea, which then dehydrated the little one, which then gave her a uti infection. she was not feeling too hot to say the least, as the first pic shows. but now, as the next pic shows, hopefully she is on the mend. chapin wanted me to say a special thanks to dr. buddy for taking such good care of her & her parents:-)

birthday

we finally made it home! you wouldn't think you would/could miss -15 below, but this morning it was strangely nice to see such a crazy number on the thermometer outside. we had such an a sweet time with family & friens and had lots of firsts - so in no particular order we will start with big man's second birthday. we celebrated with just the four of us because along with holiday cheer, my family also shared a nasty, nasty bug, so we were still in lock down. rowe's ice cream cookie was transformed into a plane by my much more creative than me husband. so here is rowe's airplane birthday cookie :-)

we celebrated rowe's bday early because we will be in tennessee for the actual day. the hindes crew gave rowe a play-dou octopus and he loves it. thanks, aunt b & kiddos!
