i think it was a duck unlimited connection but somehow andy has become friends with the lady that runs our valley tourism bureau down in alamosa. our poor little valley is hurting economically and so they are trying to push all of the valley's waterfowl opportunities. monte vista has a huge crane festival, two national waterfowl refuges, and some other stuff, but there isn't really much press on the waterfowl hunting in the area. so, they asked andy to let a photographer come along on one of his hunts. here are some of the pics. mallory - theses are gorgeous by the way! she is going to let andy use some of these for his website, and hopefully they will help the valley out, too. two birds with one stone, or two ducks in this case:-)
