cousin

the first stroud cousin has made his way into the world. baby thomas is here! roy and kristina and the little guy made it home yesterday and are doing great. we can't wait to meet ya' little one, especially rowe - he is SO excited because his cousin shares the same name as 'thomas the tank engine':-)

so this probably goes without saying that this kid is lovin' some toy story 3. if you haven't seen it, then this might seem strange, but i will back rowe up, this is a stinkin' AWESOME movie and i don't like to use caps, folks:-)

let me also say this - i am a bit crazy about our netflix. if we've watched the movie, it is gonna be mailed the next day because there is not much going on out here in the middle of nowhere colorado. so....we've had toy story about three weeks:-)

pool

it is technically called a 'bathing' suit!

so this was rowe's idea to put on his swim suit at 2 in the afternoon and shoot, it's too cold outside anyway, so why not play swimmin' pool. miss blue eyes loved it. good idea, rowe.

bath

a montage to bathtime antics. between drinking bathwater, hiding under the colander, ticklin' each other, these two can spend an hour in the bath - no problem. i think they have an uncanny sense that this is the closest thing to a pool they are gonna get until july, so they might as well enjoy it:-)

trying

winter is here and it might have brought a christmas card with it:-) so, in a couple of weeks, if these pics look familiar...

new

with winter coming, i thought we needed a new crafting tool - enter scissors (this shows the caliber of our crafting sessions:-) rowe has been cutting like a crazy man. look at the concentration, serious business folks.

school

this pic is from rowe's school, the creede early learning center, to be exact. i use the term 'school' loosely here:-) as an unbiased observer, this kiddo looks like trouble!

better

sweet chap is feeling so much better, so much better that she is ready to hit the slopes:-)
