one of the original attractions to the ranch was the sulpher hot springs. i think the water comes out at about 118 degrees and it was assumed to have 'healing powers' by the guests to the ranch as well as the local ute indians . A couple of years ago, the guys built a 'natural hot tub' right on the side of goose creek. since summer is a ways away, this has been our swimming pool for the winter. the kiddos love it and it is growing on the two skeptics - me and char pepps:-)

we had some visitors in our bath tub yesterday. andy, les, and mark had a successful day pike fishing over in durango and the kids were thoroughly enjoying their good fortune. chap just kept saying, "fishhhh, fishhhh.'
so, if you are in the mood for fish, we've got plenty as you can see - and believe it or not, pike is tasty! so just drop on by:-)

tat
les, from below, also brought from montana a sweet brown trout tatoo. rowe had a tat of his own to show off. i think the eagle suits him:-) you know you have been in colorado too long when you think a brown trout tatoo is sweet. sorry, dad, but it's true. i think andy might just have a career in the body art world.
new
les, one of andy's old guides, came to visit this weekend and brought a new montana addition to our red-neck olympics here in creede, colorado. forget pulling tubes behind the 4-wheeler - snowboard all the way. and keeping with the theme, of course i'm wearing my carhart overalls. thanks les, for adding to our winter fun. thanks, too, a helmet is always a good idea for me on a board. i haven't had that much fun since center hill! (family shout out)
