so we are back in texas on sweet momma lee's computer and i found this oldie, but goodie. we have made quite the trip and are about to make quite a trip, but just wanted to give you an update. so...if you can imagine a picture that isn't quite there yet, but that said pic will accompany each description once we get to idaho on sunday, unpack the 74,000 boxes, find the usb port, download all 74,000 pictures from our 7 weeks of travel, and then put corresponding pic with corresponding description - so until then...

we had an amazing stay at the beach, great friends, 5 babies under 5, rowe body surfing, chapin looking so stinkin' cute in her little seersucker bathing suit

then off to our old alma mater. auburn has never looked so beautiful. more sweet friends. andy fished in a bass tournament, yes i did write bass tournament, and i do believe it is andy that always makes fun of my 'red' background:-)

then off to the georgia mountains and more sweet friends, 4UR friends, the kiddos playing in a moutain stream on this side of the mississippi, nothing against the rockies but these kind of mountains feels like they are in my blood.

then up to knoxville and we couldn't have hit the dogwoods more perfectly. if you haven't experienced an east tennessee spring, than you are missing out. so much time with sweet baby thomas and rowe's new hero, uncle roy. time with mom and dad and nanny and pa and all kinds of family and sweet old friends and their babies. i know i am using 'sweet' alot, but it was just such a sweet time. we had an amazing easter, our hearts just being renewed in Him, and then we started our travel west.

off to nashville to visit more family, then towards memphis with more family. we had a little hiccup here as the storms began to get in our way a bit. it felt like the house was coming down on us monday night and then we squeaked into the lake house in between two different tornadas last night. and now we are looking at the gorgeous lake with blue skies and 80 degrees. life is sweet here in texas.

the next leg of the journey begins thursday as we head to dallas for more sweet friends, friday to colorado for more sweet friends, and we are FINALLY idaho bound sunday morning:-)

well, we made it back:-) the only word to use for new zealand is AMAZING! i feel like the best way to describe nz is to add 'er' to every word - the grass is just greener, the water is blue-er, the fish, the trees, they are all bigger, everyone seems nicer, the tacoma trucks are longer, aka 4-door to anyone other than my brother, life seems to move slower, and it just feels free-er. all to say it was just magical and a trip of a lifetime.

anyway i apologize for the delay in putting up pics. we have been on a bit of a road trip since our return, aka texas, louisiana, mississippi, alabama, florida, back to alabama, georgia, and now tennessee & we are now at my mom & dad's, whose computer we are currently overloading with photos. so enjoy a little preview of nz and when we get to idaho, then you'll get the mother load.

and i forgot to mention the lattes, they are prettier, too!
