so we celebrated an impromptu/early birthday for chap. b and the crew were supposed to stay until this weekend, but like always, life didn't quite follow along. eileen got really sick, followed by rowe, and the hindes felt like it was best to ske-daddle before their 6 fell to the idaho bug. so, right before they left, chap opened her presents while i had rowe quarantined in our room, but with the door open so at least he could see the festivities. so here's the hallway birthday party.

eileen and i took the kids over to harriman for a picnic tonight. super fun.

so the other day, i was changing a not so pleasant diaper and chap looked at me and said, "i'm so happy." i couldn't love this child anymore than i do. sweet sweet chap.

party

right in the middle of everyone being sick, the lodge threw a great party for our gm and her husband. super fun. good food. cute babies. a little something from tennessee. wildflowers. even had a blue grass band. felt like i was home.

so the second pic is the essence of island park. mind you this is a 'nice party.' here is one guide scrounging through another guide's flies - on his hat - in the middle of the party - carrying a super cute baby - with something in his plastic cup. island park, folks.
