our sweet eileen is once again headed back over the ocean.  what a joy she has been, what a joy she is.  the essence of God send.

robin

little update.  all is well in pcb.  we'll be here for a couple more weeks before we head back to chokoloskee.  the internet is still on lock down so i'm sneaking one in while andy is asleep:-) in other news - we've had an addition to the costume bin that is our life.  robin hood, seen above, and of course lady marion. only chap can pull off sweet lady marion going behind the air conditioner to retrieve robin's arrow, all with a smile. thank you, jesus, for her sweet little spirit.

fam

had an awesome time with andy's sister's fam last week.  the kiddos had so much fun at the beach and playing dress up and just running around like crazies.   thanks for braving the trip. ya'll are troopers.

so to explain this pic,  i have this weird love of bad family pics.  i seriously love them, the badder  - the better :-)   so here is to one that we have to top next time we are together.  your kiddos really need to step up their game, b. i mean we can't have this 'smiling at the camera' kind of action:-) love ya'll and thanks again for coming. so much fun.

4th

so me, mom & dad, eileen and the kiddos are all up in tennessee making the rounds. we've been able to see lots of family, which has been especially sweet as this is really the first time since college that i've been able to travel during the summer.  we had a great 4th down in florida. aly's beach had a nice little 4th shin-dig with some music and a great fireworks show, and war damn eagle, even cam newton was in the house which was pretty awesome. so i stole this pic from eileen's blog - she has tons more from the day.  the other family in the pics is one of our oldest friends from auburn, the stacy crew. we've been able to spend a ton of time with their fam because they live super close to pcb.  jason, cheryl, & their three girls have been such a joy to be around this summer.  you know rowe's been around a lot of girls when he says that the fireworks look like pixie dust:-) hilarious. 
anyway... the next post could possibly be of our almost here niece whose sweet momma is about to pop. we'll keep you posted:-)

lastly, if you happen to check eileen's blog, please notice the first pic which has a crazy amount of fishing rods on one side of the kiddos and then the vice and tying material taking up the other side. safety first in the lee house, obviously.

update

little update.  all is sweet sweet here. we are LOVING having eileen back, my mom and dad are visiting for a couple of days, andy is off for the 4th, beach in still right down the street, so life is good. happy 4th to all
