isaac has come and gone here. have a little bit of extra water which the  kiddos are lovin, ' but thank the Lord, no real damage. now thinkin' of sweet new orleans.

so everyone is in full hurricane prep mode. for a tennessee girl, this is straight crazy.  will keep you posted. packing up things as i type.

so what better pic to update our life in chokoloskee. fish galore.  i'm officially a fisherman's wife/momma because i not only say this with pride, but also a pang of jeolousy, rowe jumped his first poon tonight! can't believe it.  i've been fishing for these suckers since we got down here and i can't even cast 5 ft when i see one, so here my 4 year old shows me how it's done.

so here's a pic of the fishing crew tonight.  all smiles as you can see. so thankful for the synder family. sweet henry loves spiderman and batman and superman and buzz lightyear and obviously fishing as well. just an enormous blessing in rowe's life.  and we feel the same way about henry's parents:-)

new addition to the fam! sweet baby joanna grace stroud. just love new nieces and nephews. my childhood just wouldn't have been the same without all of my crazy cousins, so i'm so thankful my kids are gettin' some crazy, too:-) so thanks bro & kristina. as you can see, chap was pretty excited about getting her hands on this baby.  very serious babysitter in training.

the other reason for our little weekend trip up to knoxville was my dad's surprise 70th bday party.  my mom worked wonders and really surprised him, which is a feat in and of itself, so the party was a huge success and i was so grateful to have been a part of it.  happy bday, dad. we all love love love ya. so thankful for the presence you have in all of our lives.
