halloween

so our little town is moderately obsessed with halloween and it seems couldn't quite wait until tonight because all halloween festivities were on saturday night.  our good friends shannon & billy threw an awesome 'spooktacular' party& had a couch full of little ones which was hysterical.  she went all out with her house and it was super fun to help with all of the yummies.  our AMAZING friend paula surprised the kiddos with batman & batgirl costumes so they were beyond psyched.  my favorite part of the night was chapin double checking her candy stash after every house. it was hilarious.  well, thanks everglade city for a fun halloween and for having it on the weekend prior because poor rowe is now currently in bed with a fever and with this child's love of dressing up, if he had missed halloween, it would not have been pretty.  so everyone have fun tonight and can't wait to see pics:-)

oh, this sweet child.  she can hear my mixing bowl coming out from two rooms away, the crack of an egg sends her running to the kitchen where she'll say, momma - wanna help ya.  i've gotta say, she's pretty good. momma lee  - i think she's following in your culinary footsteps:-)

and never one to be crafty, my fun little project for the day.  listened to yet another amazing john piper sermon about marriage and piper was reminded that his wife was truly precious to him and it just spoke to my heart, encouraged my heart to be more mindful of how precious this all is.
