first, i'm officially a floridian. i bit the bullet with a little help from my friendly neighborhood police officer who matter of factly informed me that i had two weeks after moving, which was about a year ago and a chunk,  to get a fl license and was not really moved by my story of how sentimentally attached i was to my colorado license since it was still valid until 2015.  thus, florida dr. license.    

secondly, i know even more that i am officially a floridian because our sweet friends from 4UR fished with andy last week and brought matching mother/daughter sand dollar necklaces and i LOVE them. obsessed. won't take it off. a huge huge huge thanks, tom. your heart is a just a treasure.

so evidence #3,  the kids are freezing if it is below 60! i mean, come on, 60! here's rowe watching some superwhy wearing his winter hat INSIDE. colorado blood is no more.

so not really florida related, but here are some pics of life lately.  my new braclet from my hubs, chap's favorite doll from eileen's momma, moni, chap's version of starry night, the new book the kiddos and i started, rowe and birdie bird, and some easter flower love. 

brag

so have to brag on chap a little bit.  went to the dr. yesterday to catch up on immunizations for both kiddos and the nurse whispers to me,  "you better let her go first cause she's not gonna let me touch her after her brother goes."  so this should be prefaced by saying that chap has always been tough. my mom loves to tell the story of chap falling and then saying to my mom, "i'm okay, grammy. i are tough." cause the kid is.  so anyway, nurse brings out the shot, jabs her in the arm, and literally chap did not even flinch.  the nurse was like, "wow."  anyway, proud of our wonderwoman cause she are tough:-)  also, props to rowe, too. not a tear was shed in the dr. office yesterday.

took our little everglade city gang of pumpkins to the naples children's museum. this crew is trouble trouble.

a little dance party action.  mainly rowe, a little chap and we even had a mystery guest waltz in.

saturday

we had a super fun saturday. first, we started it off with ole rowe bo's tball game.  love our #12.  then off to the old florida festival.  pretty neat event. the kiddos are always up for costumes and of course, holding snakes. 

 and then we ended the day at the beach with a little sunset birthday/mojito party for shannon. fun day.

last thing - a funny from today, from yesterday, chap told me that her spider girl costume came from the 18th century. wow, that's a really old spidergirl.
